Biography

Robert S. Marks is the Associate Professor, Department of Biotechnology Engineering, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel. He completed his Ph. D. In Chemical Immunology at The Weizmann Institute of Science (1987-1992). His research activites includes: Biosensors, Chemiluminescent fiber-optic immunosensors to clinical pathogens, Bioluminescent fiber-optic bio-reporter biosensors to environmental toxicants, Biotin-modified alginate, synthesis, characterization and applications, Indium tin oxide fiber-optic biosensors, Field studies using fiber-optic biosensors, Bioluminescent fiber-optic bio-reporter biosensors to environmental toxicants , Magnetic immuno-phage Assay to Listeria monocytogenes in food, Enzymatic nanolithography. He is the editor of Applied Biochemistry and Biotechnology, Talanta, Applied Journal of Toxicology. He guided. He wrote 1 books with more than 40 book chapters and many more.
