Sameh S. Ali has completed his Ph.D. at the age of 27 years from Tohoku University and postdoctoral studies in the Technical University Graz, and Washington University in Saint Louis. He worked at the School of Medicine in the University of California, San Diego since 2005 and is on a leave of absence from his position as an Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at UCSD. Dr. Ali is currently the founding director of the Center for Aging and Associated Diseases in Helmy Institute of Medical Sciences at Zewail City of Science and Technology, a project that is announced as Egypt’s National Project for Scientific Renaissance. He has published more than 40 papers in reputed journals and serving as an editorial board member of 4 different reputable journals in the field of biomedicine, nanomedicine, and nanobiology.
