Tapan K. Bera

Dr. Bera received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Calcutta University, India. He completed his postdoctoral research training at the Cancer Research Laboratory, UC Berkeley and at the Laboratory of Molecular Biology, National Cancer Institute. Currently he held the Associate Scientist position at the National Cancer Institute, National Institute of Health.
His research goal and objectives are focused mainly on to understand the molecular basis of cancer by identifying the genes involved in this process and translate that information to possible targeted therapy of cancer.
