Agriculture and horticulture

Agricultural science is the study of the science and management of biological systems and aims at the cultivation plants and fungi, medicinal plants and other products for foodfiber and biofuels which is fused to sustain and improve the human life on earth. Horticulture is a subdivision of agriculture that concerns with the application of technology in the plant cultivation. Not only science and technology it also deals with the arts and business of the plant cultivation. The main aim of the horticulture is to cultivate food crops like fruits, vegetables, nuts, mushrooms, seeds and other crops like herbs, sprouts, algae, seaweeds and non-food crops such as grass, flowers and ornamental trees and plants and also medicinal plants. It not only concerned with the production of crops but also takes care of the environment too.  They also perform plant conservation, landscape restoration and maintenance.  They also do garden design according to the crops and quantity of the crops. Horticulturist are the one who take care of this gardens and their aim is to produce healthier food crops and to provide the people in the poverty-stricken area the nutrious food at the low cost.
