Agriculture Current Trends and Future

Agricultural development pays directly to food security. And it acts as an engine of overall financial development in much of the developing world. The success of the farming area has not been shared evenly across regions and countries. By 2050, world population is expected to grow to between 9 and 10 billion people. Most of the development is expected to occur in poverty affected countries, where income elasticity of demand for food remains to be high. The population rise, combined with moderately high pay growth, could result in a more than 70 %  rise in demand for food and further farming products by 2050.
