Artery Stenosis
Carotid stenosis is a constriction of lumen of carotid artery, common cause is artherosclerosis. Renal artery stenosis is the constriction of the renal arteries, most often caused by fibro muscular dysplasia or artherosclerosis. This narrowing of the renal artery can hinder blood flow to the target kidney, causing renovascular hypertension – a secondary type of high blood pressure. Stenosis of pulmonary artery is a condition where the artery is subjected to an abnormal constriction.
