Canaloplasty

It is actually done for open angle Glaucoma patients. Under canaloplasty, a micro catheter or tube placed in the Canal of Schlemm to enlarge the drainage canal, which relieves the excess pressure inside the eye caused by Glaucoma. It is very much useful especially for those patients having high risk for infection or bleeding. Canaloplasty can eliminate the need for eye drops among glaucoma patients.
