Case reports on Clinical Microbiology

Study of micro-organisms like bacteria, fungi and viruses is called microbiology. Many diseases that are caused by bacteria, fungi, viruses, parasites and protozoans and can be spread from one individual to the other fall under the category of contagious diseases. Sometimes some helpful microorganisms may become opportunistic pathogens and cause disease.

These diseases can be diagnosed by microscopy, microbial culture and biochemical tests or by Meta genomic sequencing bioinformatics tools.
