Cholangioscopy

Cholangioscopy is a non-invasive endoscopic strategy utilized for both direct visual diagnostic evaluation and simultaneous therapeutic intervention of the bile ducts. Peroral cholangioscopy beats a portion of the restrictions of endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). It has been appeared to be a powerful demonstrative and helpful instrument. Studies have assessed clinical efficacy of peroral cholangioscopy in describing benign versus malignant natures of biliary strictures, diagnosing intraductal tumors, better characterizing obscure biliary pathologies, and treating biliary stones.
