Chronic Diseases linked to obesity & Treatments

Obesity results in many adverse metabolic effects on health, causing an incrementation in oxidative stress, which leads to endothelial dysfunction, periodontitis, because of the incrementation in proinflammatory cytokines. However, the adipose tissue actively secretes a variety of cytokines and hormones that are involved in inflammatory processes, that fixate on homogeneous pathways involved in the pathophysiology of exorbitant corpulence, periodontitis and cognate inflammatory diseases. So relation between obesity and periodontitis and to review adipose tissue derived hormones and cytokines that are involved in inflammatory processes and their relationship to periodontitis has to be studied.
