Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Diseases

COPD is a type of obstructive lung disease. Tobacco smoking is the main cause of the chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Main signs and symptoms include cough and shortness of breath. COPD can be treated using steroids, vaccinations, stopping smoking and respiratory rehabilitation. As of 2014 COPD affects 340 million people of the global population. COPD is mainly occurs in people with the above age of 40.
