Colon Polyps and Cancer

Colon polyps are developments on the lining of your colon or large intestine and it is a part of digestive tract, it is harmful. But a number of can turn into colon cancer over time. Colorectal cancer rises from the inner lining of the large intestine, also known as the colon. Tumors may also rise from the inner lining of the final part of the digestive tract, called the rectum. Colorectal cancer may also grow from areas of abnormal cells in the lining of the colon or rectum.
