Emotion Regulation Therapy

Emotion Regulation is the module in which we figure out how to see how our feelings function, and the abilities we have to deal with our feelings as opposed to being overseen by them, to decrease that we are so defenseless against negative feelings, and to construct positive passionate experiences. Perhaps more than in the other three modules, the aptitudes in Emotion Regulation expand on each other. As we take in every little piece, and practice it, we are putting another building obstruct in the structure of our own Emotion Regulation, adapting little by little how to deal with negative feelings and how to assemble positive ones. The first thing to acknowledge is that nobody is revealing to us that our negative feelings are terrible, or not essential, or to dispose of them.

. Everybody has negative feelings. It is a piece of life. Those of us who have been through excruciating or damaging encounters may have exceptionally extraordinary negative feelings. We need to approve these feelings, have them perceived and accepted, acknowledge them as genuine and important.
