Being humans we have prior responsibility to preserve the actual value of nature both for ourselves and for future generations. In the environment many things can affect our health like ozone depletion, climate change, UV radiation. Unexpectedly, planet is suffering due to many environmental problems that may affect people, societies, and ecosystems. Major Environmental Health problems mainly facing today are deforestation, global warming, disasters and water pollution.

Environmental health encompasses the assessment and control of those environmental factors that can potentially affect health. It is targeted towards preventing disease and creating health-supportive environments. This definition excludes behavior not related to environment, as well as behavior related to the social and cultural environment, and genetics.
