Infectious Diseases Vaccines

Infectious diseases vaccines are the vaccines which prevent the infectious diseases and infectious diseases like diphtheria, haemophilus influenzae serotype b infection, hepatitis b, measles, meningitis, mumps, pertussis, poliomyelitis, rubella, tetanus, tuberculosis and yellow fever are preventable through vaccines.

Vaccines which can treat infectious diseases are called as infectious diseases vaccines and this type of diseases are called as vaccine preventable diseases. Diseases which can be prevented by vaccines are cholera, diphtheria, hepatitis a, hepatitis b, herpes zoster (shingles), human papillomavirus/ hpv, influenza/ flu, invasive haemophilus influenzae disease, invasive meningococcal disease, invasive pneumococcal disease, japanese encephalitis, measles, mumps, pertussis/ whooping cough, poliomyelitis/ polio, rabies, rotavirus, rubella/ german measles, smallpox, tetanus, tick borne encephalitis, tuberculosis, typhoid, varicella/ chickenpox and yellow fever.
