In recent years nanotechnology has found its significant interest in a wide range of applications in the pharmaceutical industry. Nanomaterials have been used in in-vivo preclinical and clinical trials.  The choice of a particular technique depends on a variety of factors such as administration route, dose, drug physicochemical properties, drug target, and target cells or tissues.
