Recent Innovations in Cardiothoracic Surgery

Cardiac stem cell therapy was stem cells travel the scene of the accident. Some come from the bone marrow, a modest number of others, from the heart itself. Giant congenital right atrial aneurysms are rare defects of the heart. Though usually asymptomatic, they can be potentially life-threatening can be treated by procedures of cardiac surgery. The surgeon uses a specially-designed computer console to control surgical instruments on thin robotic arms. Robotically-assisted surgery has changed the way certain heart operations are being performed. This technology allows surgeons to perform certain types of complex heart surgeries with smaller incisions and precise motion control, offering patients improved outcomes. Cardiac surgery conference 2016 is a platform for discussing recent innovations in cardiothoracic surgery.

Robotically-assisted heart surgery, also called closed-chest heart surgery, is a type of minimally invasive heart surgery performed by a cardiac surgeon.

Robotic surgery, or robot-assisted surgery, allows doctors to perform many types of complex procedures with more precision, flexibility and control than is possible with conventional techniques. Robotic surgery is usually associated with minimally invasive surgery procedures performed through tiny incisions. Cardiac biomarkers of cardiovascular stress are detectable in ambulatory individuals and add prognostic value to standard risk factors for predicting death, overall cardiovascular events, and heart failure. Stem cells are nature’s own transformers.
