Case reports expand our knowledge of clinical medicine. They are a novel way of learning to make a diagnosis in difficult cases with unusual presentations and formulating treatment strategies. Moreover they provide an opportunity to learn from personal experience of other clinicians.
By bringing case reports related to diabetes together, this issue is aimed at learning presentations, complications and management of diabetes related problems. There is a particular emphasis on gaining insight on impact of diabetes on our patients and identifying common problems which are easily missed.
All case reports highlight the important learning points and followed by CME questions.
