Biography

Dr. Andrej Ivanco is a Research Assistant Professor at Clemson University. His research focuses on hybrid vehicle system level optimization, stochastic and real-time control, route planning, population driving patterns and hardware in the loop testing. Prior to joining the Clemson University Department of Automotive Engineering, he worked for two years as a Research Fellow at the University of Michigan AutoLab. Dr. Ivanco holds a double Ph.D. degree in Energetics from University of Orleans, France as well as in Technical Cybernetics form Czech Technical University in Prague. His list of publications includes five peer-reviewed journal articles and eleven conference papers in the area of hybrid vehicle design and control.
