Biography

Aishah Ali is a registered nurse, midwife and public health nurse. Aishah has a Master of Public Health (USA) and Doctorate in Public Health (New Zealand). Aishah was a founding member of the first faculty of Nursing in Malaysia who developed a Bachelor of Nursing’s curriculum. She is a teacher, clinical supervisor for nursing and medical students. She held several administrative posts within and outside university. Aishah has published papers, books, chapters in books, book reviewer and contributed to medical columns in a Malaysia newspaper. She is an independent reviewer for prestigious journals. Aishah is also a member of Malaysian Quality Assurance, an agency responsible for reviewing curriculums of new programs of private institutions, an external examiner, external assessor for academic staff’s promotions, and a member of voluntary and professional organizations.
