Biography

Alexander Ghanem received the M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Bonn, Germany, in 2003. In his dissertation, he validated the accuracy of echocardiography in mice. He currently serves as the Leader of the research workgroup Experimental Sonography and Sonotherapy and works as attending in interventional cardiology at the Department of Medicine/Cardiology at the University Hospital Bonn. Ghanem is currently appointed as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Bonn.
