Dr. A. Santamato is currently chief of spasticity and movement disorders service at the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in the University Hospital of Foggia, Italy. Dr. Santamato clinical focuses are movement disorders, especially dystonia, spasticity and botulinum neurotoxin therapy.He has a special interest in using ultrasound (combined with ES and EMG) to identify the correct site of injection.His researches are also focused in the field of physical therapies, muscle disorders, spinal cord injury and cerebral palsy; stroke Rehabilitation, Md Parkinson rehabilitation Dr. Santamato is a nationally and internationally recognized clinician/researcher. He has published 77 refereed journal articles, book chapters and presented his research to a variety of rehabilitation of national and international congresses.
