Anton V. Dolzhenko received his degree in Pharmacy (First Honours with Distinction) in 2000 and then Ph.D. degree in Medicinal Chemistry in 2004, both from the Perm State Pharmaceutical Academy (Russia). After working at the Pharmacy Department of the National University of Singapore for 6 years, in 2010 he joined the School of Pharmacy, Curtin University (Australia) as Lecturer and then was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2011. His current research interests include synthetic and structural aspects of chemistry of nitrogen heterocycles. He has been actively working on the development of new synthetic methods for the preparation of potentially bioactive compounds.
