Biography

Chi Hyun Kim is a Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering and Director of Cell and Tissue Mechanobiology Laboratory at Yonsei University, Korea. He completed his postdoctoral training in Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University, Stanford, CA and Palo Alto Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Palo Alto, CA. He received his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia University, New York, NY in 2003 and 1999, respectively. He received his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Yonsei University, Korea in 1997. He has authored over 35 peer-reviewed manuscripts.
