Dr. Chong Soo Lee worked as a president of the Korean Society for Technology of Plasticity (2010), and now serves a vice-president of the Korean Institute of Metals and Materials. He has been an Editorial board member of International Journal of Fatigue (2004-present), Metals and Materials International (2004-present) and La Metallurgia Italiana (2009-present). Most honorably, he was elected as a member of European Academy of Science in the year of 2009.
Research interests include fatigue life prediction and high temperature formability of various metallic alloys.
