• Prof. Ciarapica has been tutor or co_tutor in master thesis of more than 150 students of Mechanical Engineering Master Degree and Management Engineering Master Degree of Polytechnical University of Marche. • In the years 2001-2010, he supported the research activities of several PhD students within the PhD program “Energy management” of the Engineering Faculty of the Polytechnical University of Marche. • He was supervisor of the PhD student Alfughi Emad, for the PhD program “Energy management” of the Engineering Faculty of the Polytechnical University of Marche within the international research agreement between Italy and Libya. (2005) • He was supervisor of the PhD student Leonardo Postacchini, for the PhD program “Sustainable Energy and Technology” of the Faculty of Science and Technology of the University of Bolzano. (2011) • He was supervisor of the PhD student Ilaria De Sanctis, for the PhD program “Industrial Engineering” of the Department of Industrial Engineering and Mathematical Science of Università Politecnica delle Marche.
