Daotai Nie is the Associate Professor in Molecular Oncology Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and is a member in Southern Illinois University Simmons Cancer Institute He received his PhD degree from the University of South Carolina at Columbia SC in 1997

Research Interest

Major research interests include bioactive lipid signaling in tumor growth, progression and metastasis, drug resistance, and cancer stem cells. Cancer stem cells Lipid regulation of tumor growth and metastasis Mitochondrial defects in cancer Drug metabolism, disposition, and multi-drug resistance.
