Dr. Fardo received his PhD in Biostatistics from Harvard University is 2008. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics at the University of Kentucky where has has developed a statistical genetics curriculum. His statistical interests focus on developing and applying methodologies for understanding how genetic variation relates to complex human diseases.

Research Interest

Statistical genetics, genome-wide association studies, next-generation sequencing, family-based association testing, longitudinal data analysis, statistics education, statistics for public health applications, neurodegenerative diseases.
