Dr. Parimala Ganney has done her Post Doctoral Fellow in 2013 on Carbohydrate and Nucleoside chemistry. She has done her Ph.D. (2001-2008) In Synthetic Organic chemistry from Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad, India. Dr. Parimala Ganney has been awarded joint CSIR-UGC- National eligibility Test (NET) fellowship by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Govt. of India, (2000). She has shown expertise by publishing papers like: A Reverse strategy for synthesis of Nucleosides by Fraser Reid Bert.; Parimala, G.; Ramamurthy, C.; Gomez, M. A.; Cristobal, L. J.; Chem. Comm.49, 2013, 3251. A Patent had been issued for the work described in Chem. Comm.49, 2013, 3251. She is now currently Tutoring Chemistry with Wyzant Inc., Signed up with wyzant for tutoring service, teaching all parts of chemistry and is actively involved in the preparation of different furanosyl n-pentenyl orthoesters from different sugars. She has also executed a reverse strategy for synthesis of nucleosides, in which the preparation of different nucleosides using furanosyl n-pentenyl orthoesters with different bases was well demonstrated.
