 Etti Baranoff is an associate professor of Finance and Insurance at the School of Business of Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, Virginia, teaching risk and insurance, finance and employee benefits classes. A member of the executive committee of the Faculty Senate of VCU, Chair of the PHD committee of the School of Business. External Research Director of Insurance and Finance at The Geneva Association. Key independent expert of The Geneva Association on all fundamental and theoretical work in the area of Insurance and Finance (IF) responsible for original research work in this area. The editor of the Insurance and Finance Newsletter of the Geneva Association and bi-annual editor of the IF Special Issue of the Geneva Paper. Serving on the Financial Stability in Insurance working group.
