Biography

Gallus Bischof PhD works as psychologist and senior researcher at the University of Luebeck, Dpt Of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy, Germany where he currently works as principal investigator in an RCT on the Community Reinforcement Approach and Family Training for Alcohol Use Disorders. He has received his PhD at the University of Greifswald in 2004. In addition he has been trained as a behaviour therapist at the Institute for Therapy Research in Kiel. He is member of the Editorial Board of the German Journal Addiction Therapy “Suchttherapie” member of the executive committee of the German Society for Addiction Psychology “Deutsche Gesellschaft für Suchtpsychologie” member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers MINT and member of the International Network of Brief Interventions for Alcohol Problems INEBRIA Gallus Bischof has published over 80 articles in peerreviewed Journals and 25 book chapters. He has served as a reviewer for various leading Journals in the field of Addiction and Public Health.
