Biography

Hussam Al-Kateb is an Associate Director, Department of Immunology and Pathology, Washington University School of Medicine, USA. He did his PhD at The University of Heidelberg, Germany and a fellowship in complex disorders at The Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto, Canada as well as fellowships in clinical cytogenetics and clinical molecular genetics at Case Western Reserve University, Ohio.

Research Interest

Hussam Al-Kateb research interests include discovery of disease genes for both monogenic and complex disorders and in developing of genomic tests for a variety of diseases. Dr. Al-Kateb is also interested in discovering markers for differential diagnosis, prognosis and management of hematological malignancies.
