Dr. Jack Z. Hu received his M.S. in theoretical chemistry at East China Normal University, China, and his Ph. D. in computer-aided drug design and computational chemistry at Shanghai Institute of Meteria Madica, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Dr. Hu came to USA in 1998 as a Research Fellow at Laboratory of Experimental and Computational Biology of the National Cancer Institute, National Institute of Health. From 1999 to 2001, he worked at Lombardi Cancer Center, Georgetown University Medical Center as a post-doctoral fellow. He came to the University of Michigan in 2001 as a research investigator. He is now computational research scientist at Howard University. In the past few years he have been working in the field of computational chemistry, computational biology, structure-based drug design, bioinformatics, and molecular modeling, to develop pharmaceutical agent to treat various human diseases.
