Junya Kuroda, holder of M.D. and Ph.D. degrees, is an assistant professor and a clinical researcher at the Division of Hematology and Oncology, Department of Medicine, Kyoto Prefectural University of Medicine.

Research Interest

Junya Kurodas research interests focused on identifying the novel therapeutic molecular targets by clarifying programmed cell death mechanisms, such as apoptosis and autophagy, of cancers, especially hematologic malignancies, such as leukemias, lymphomas, or myeloma. Recent works also cover the biologic and molecular regulation of tumor cells including cancer initiating cells by tumor microenvironment in hematologic malignancies.
