Khalid M. Alkharfy is the Director of the Research Department, Riyadh Techno Valley, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; Associate Professor at Clinical Pharmaceutical Sciences, College of Pharmacy, King Saud University; Coordinator of the Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics Research Laboratory, King Saud University; Drug Discovery Team Leader, Biomarkers Research Program, King Saud University. He has received a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh PA in 2002. He has earned his PharmD from the University of Tennessee Memphis TN in 1997. He competed a BSc Pharm from King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 1994. He is a contributing author of some books, editorial member of reputed journals and a reviewer of 7 journals including Journal of Chromatography B Pharmaceutical Research and International Journal of Clinical Practice. He has 30 publications to his name.

Biomarkers in diseases and drug response. Genetic polymorphisms. Drug metabolism studies. Drug-herb interaction studies. Drug analysis in biological fluids.
