Biography

Prof. Lavano Angelo is currently working at Neurosurgical Department, School of Medicine and Surgery, University of Catanzaro, Avenue Salvatore Venuta, 88100 Catanzaro- Italy. His scientific activities includes Surgical treatment of complicated-advanced Parkinson Disease with Motor Cortex Stimulation (MCS), Utility of the Intracranial Pressure Lumbar Monitoring in the Chronic Daily Headache, Transforamenal Sacral Nerve Stimulation (TSNS) in bladder dysfunctions an isolated pelvic pain syndrome, etc.

- Physiopatology of the hypertensive pneumoencephalus after  evacuation of  chronic subdural  haematomas
- Treatment of  chronic benign pain of the inferior limbs with Dorsal Column Electrical Stimulation (SCS)
- Immunohistochemical Study of the extracellular matrix in the neuroectodermic tumors
- Neuronavigation Systems and Stereotactic "frame-based” Systems  in the implant of deeph intracerebral electrodes
