Ludmila V299;ksna is the professor and chair in Department of infectology and dermatology The Riga Stradi326;š University Latvia She earned his PhD at Riga Medical Institute Latvia Currently She is the head of Tuberculosis and Lung diseases department of state agency Infectology Center of Latvia Corresponding Member and members of expert commissions of Latvian Academy of Sciences She has published 362 Reviewed papers and she was author of 5 books and 2 books chapters. She has been teaching experience of more than 30 years She served as president of Infectologists Associations of Latvia and vicepresident of Physicians Society of Latvia till 2010. She was one of the members in European Association of Study of the Liver and European society of Clinical microbiology and infectious Diseases. She served as a reviewer of peerreviewed journals in the area of HIV/AIDS infectology. She organized BalticNordic infectologists and hepatologists conferences She received many awards like diploma of Three Stars order for merits in favor of Latvia; Officer of Three Stars order 3003 2009 and WHO certificate of appreciation.
