Dr. Lopez received his PhD by the University of Santiago de Compostela. Currently he is a Professor of Pharmacology at the USC and Full Professor of Pharmacology at the USC. He used to be the Fogarty Fellow at the Johns Hopkins Asthma and Allergy Center (1990-92), Director of the European Community Reference for Marine Toxins (2004-2009) and Director of the Department of Pharmacology of the USC (2003-2011)
