Luiz Carvalho is a Gynecologist and Obstetrician with five years of research and academic carrier. He joined Sao Paulo University in Ob/Gyn Department in 2008 and he has been focusing his research in endometriosis and fertility outcome. Dr. Carvalho was appointed as a PhD Fellow in Center for Reproductive Medicine, Cleveland Clinic in March 2010. He has authored PubMed articles, more than 15 book chapter/book, and presented over 35 papers at both national (Brazil) and international scientific meetings. He is currently reviewer of important international journals, such as Fertility and Sterility, The Journal of Reproductive Medicine and others. Dr Carvalho is on the editorial board of the Theriogenology Insight journal. His current research interests include studies on: eutopic endometrium and in vitro fertilization outcome in patients; oxidative stress; endometriosis and infertility; robotic as a new surgical minimally invasive approach to treat endometriosis; and the use of robotic in female fertility preservation.
