Biography

Majda Bastič, PhD, is a Full-time Professor in the Department of Quantitative Economic Analysis at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Maribor. She received her PhD from the University of Zagreb. Her research is focused on the use of research methods in innovation management associated with sustainable development in different fields and especially in developing measurement scales for eco-quality of services and products and other constructs associated with innovations. She participated in scientific conferences, is author of textbooks and chapters in books as well as the scientific articles published abroad and in Slovenia. She has also been involved in many research projects, mainly in the field of innovations. As a professor, he lectures at undergraduate level on Operations Research, Operations Management and Research Methodology on postgraduate level. She is Editor in chief of Journal Our Economy and Associate Editor of Central European Journal of Operations Research.
