Matteo Zanardelli is a Clinical Research Associate presso OPIS s.r.l. where his activities are focused to the elaboration and submission of the documents requested by Ethic Committee and AIFA for the initiation and conduction of clinical trials.
His academic background allow to understand each clinical trial phase and, in collaboration with colleagues, to intervene in order to finalize the better result. His Skills are drafting necessary documents for the initiation and conduction of clinical trial, main techniques of molecular biology, handling experimental animals, measurement of the algesia's state of the experimental animal, planning, execution and analysis of pharmacological experiments, writing of scientific articles.
He is working as Clinical Trial Assistant in Applied Biology from 2014 up to present in applied Biology Inc, Irvine (United States) where he revised and submitted the regulatory documents (protocol, resume of the study, letter of intent, informed consent, medical device data sheet, company agreement) required by the Ethic Committee (Comitato Etico di Area Vasta Centro) and AIFA (Italian Agency of Drug) for starting dermatological clinical trials on medical device. He has done his post-doc fellowship from University of Florence in April 2015. He performed research activities related to the project "Role of the oxygen species in the differentiation of stem cells: implications in obtaining the cardiac phenotype". He also work in research activities related to the project "Role of peroxisomal alterations in chemotherapy-induced neuropathy." And set up models of neuropathic pain through surgical techniques (CCI), used cellular models in vitro consist of primary cells or tumor cells. performed research activities related to the project "Evaluation of artemin levels in depressed patients".He organized and planned experiments relating to genomic analysis of artemin. He performed research activities related to the project "interaction between nicotine and glial-derived growth factors in the CNS." and exploited the principal biomolecular technologies of investigation (analysis of protein expression and genomic analysis of immunofluorescence, enzyme immunoassays). He also served as a pharmacist at Sanctuary of Pharmacy August 2010 and managed the pharmaceutical counter with particular attention in the field of food supplements and natural origin's drugs.
 He was awarded with Prize support provided by Italian Society of Neuroscience (SINS) to participate in the 8th FENS Forum 14-18 July 2012
