Biography

Research scientist seeking a laboratory research position to leverage my knowledge in epidermal biology and cancer biochemistry or skin applications. Published 80 peer reviewed papers and 6 book chapters on regulation of melanogenesis due to the effect of UVB and melanocortin and fusion theory for cancer metastasis. Collaborated with many internationally reputed scientists in the fields of cell pigmentation and melanoma research. Provided consultancy and technical expertise to cosmetic and fine chemicals companies like Avon and ISP in assessing the depigmentogenic and pigmentogenic potentiality of various plant actives. Experienced in leading lab and pre-clinical research at Yale Medical School and working across multiple disciplines to address scientific challenges.
