Dr. Davies is an Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences College of Pharmacy Washington State University in Pullman and Director of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Graduate Program. He received his BSc in Pharmacy from the University of Alberta in 1991 and a PhD in 1996 from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences From 1996 to 1998. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Pharmacology Therapeutics at the Faculty of Medicine University of Calgary and then joined the faculty of Pharmacy in 1998 at the University of Sydney as a lecturer and subsequently the College of Pharmacy at Washington State University in 2002 Research interests have included pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of NSAIDs with special emphasis on gastrointestinal and renal toxicity the pharmaceutics of glucocorticoids and the pharmacometrics of flavonoids and stilbenes as well as novel approaches in drug delivery In particular Dr Davies has developed novel chromatographic HPLC methods for analysis of chiral flavonoids Over 135 research papers have been published since 1991 Teaching pharmacokinetics and preclinical and clinical research and assay method developed continue to be the focus of the research program of Dr Davies laboratory

Pharmacometrics of Anti-inflammatory / Anti-Cancer Drugs, Phytochemicals and Orthopedic Implants variety of sample analyses, including atomic absorption spectrophotometry, high performance liquid chromatography, specializing in HPLC/MS analyses, including: Bioanalytical Sample Analysis, Quantitative Analysis, Pharmacokinetic Analysis, High-Throughput Drug Discovery, Analytical Methods Development and Validation, Structure Elucidation including Metabolite Identification and Stability Impurity Indentification.
