Biography

Dr. Radhakrishnan EK is an Assistant Professor in Microbiology in the School of Biosciences, Mahatma Gandhi University, Completed the Ph.D.in 2008 from Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology and Post-doctoral under Prof. Ikuro ABE from the University of Tokyo, Japan, completed his M.Sc. in Microbiology from Mahatma Gandhi University, India. Dr. Radhakrishnan has worked in various funded research works, and published various articles, posters, books, in various journals and invited for the lectures in various seminars and conferences.

Research Interest

1.Exploration of endophytic microorganisms for bioactive compounds.
2.Exploration of plant associated bacteria for plant growth promoting and antiphytopathogenic properties.
3.Microbial synthesis of metal nanoparticles.
4.Mechanism of biofilm formation in coagulase negative Staphylococci.
