Biography

Ranxin Shi is a Postdoctoral research fellow at Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute, La Jolla, CA. He received a Ph.D degree in molecular and cell biology at National University of Singapore, in Singapore 2006. He received a Young Scientist Award of National University of Singapore-National Medical Research Council (NUS-NMRC) in Singapore 2005. He has been a member of American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) since 2007. He is serving as a reviewer for 6 scientific journals. He has 1 patent, 1 book chapter and 11 scientific publications.

Research Interest

Mechanisms of Apoptosis, Mechanisms of Inflammation , High Throughput Screening and Drug Discovery, Inflammation or Apoptosis-targeted Drug Discovery, Mechanism of anti-cancer and Anti-inflammation drugs.
