He received his Ph.D. (Medical Microbiology & Immunology) from University of Louisville School of Medicine. He is a member of American Association of Immunologists, International AIDS Society. He even participated in the development of an Immunotherapeutic for the treatment of AIDS that was taken through Phase 1,2 and 3 clinical trials.
