Biography

Roy Chandler is a chartered accountant and professor in accounting; he teaches auditing, company law and corporate governance. He has been involved in the teaching of financial and management accounting, as well as accounting for non-specialists.He is the author of two text books and numerous articles in professional and academic accounting journals. He has worked as Under-Secretary to the Auditing Practices Committee in the UK (1986-88) and as a manager at the International Federation of Accountants in New York (1988-90).

Research Interest

His research interests include the historical development of auditing and the professional accounting associations, current issues in auditing and international aspects of accounting.
