Satoru Matsukawa is currently an associate professor of chemistry at Ibaraki University. He received his BS from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1992 and a Ph.D from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 1997 under the direction of Professor Koichi Mikami. He joined Chiba University as an assistant professor in 1997. In 2001, he moved to Ibaraki University as an associate professor.
