Sherri Scott

Biography

Sherri Scott works in Administration at a Commercial /Residential Construction Company in Augusta, GA and a former Tourism Assistant for the Aiken County, SC Government Parks, Recreation and Tourism (Visitor Center). Her educational background consists of a degree in Hospitality, Travel and Tourism from the University Of Phoenix. Sherri Scott have obtained a Travel and Tourism diploma from Ashworth University (formerly The Professional Career Development Institute) and a Travel Agent Certification Diploma from Stratford Career Institute. She attended Aiken Technical College with a concentration on Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management. Sherri Scott memberships and organization affiliations consist of member of the Greater Augusta Arts Council, on the Board of Directors for the Lucy Craft Laney Museum of Black History, a member and former volunteer of the Morris Museum of Art (Southern Art), former Junior Board member of the Ray and Joan Kroc Center in Augusta, GA and a member of the Smithsonian Institution. She is a Notary Public for the State of South Carolina and a Travel and Tourism Writer for the Journal of Tourism and Hospitality in California and an Editorial Board Member for the Journal Of Tourism and Hospitality. Her hobbies consist of Travel Photography and Writing, visiting Museums and Art Galleries, meeting interesting people in the Tourism Industry, visiting tourism attractions, attending Arts and Crafts festivals , learning about different cultures and sampling new cuisines .
