Biography

Tamir Miloh, MD, is the director of the liver and liver transplant program at Phoenix Children’s Hospital and Associate Professor of pediatrics at University of Arizona.  Dr. Miloh is triple board certified in pediatrics, pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition and pediatric transplant hepatology. He earned his medical degree at Tel Aviv University and pediatric residency at St. Christopher Hospital for Children, Philadelphia, Pa. He completed fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York, and remained as a faculty. DR. Miloh’s areas of interest include children with liver disease and liver transplant. An avid researcher, he has been a participating investigator in single and multicenter studies on compliance with medical regimen, liver transplantation, portal hypertension, acute liver failure, sclerosing cholangitis, and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. He also has more than 30 publications at peer reviewed journals, chapters and has presented at national and international meetings.
